The Femina Miss India, 53rd edition of  beauty pageant was held on 9 April 2016 in Mumbai. In this event she was crowned Miss India World 2016. She will represent India at Miss World 2016. 
While pursuing education in, She started a career in modeling as a freelance model. In 2016 she won the title of Femina Miss Indiai, which gave her a direct entry to participate in Femina Miss India 2016, where she won the title of Femina Miss India World 2016.
